Creative Destruction Lab - Rockies

More than $6.7 billion in equity value generated

In seven years, Creative Destruction Lab-Rockies’ alumni companies have created more than $6.7 billion in equity value. The CDL program works. Ventures that participate in the program receive mentorship, guidance and advice from the people who have been where they've been - and succeeded. This program is making a significant impact to Alberta's economy by helping innovators commercialize massively scalable science and technology-based breakthroughs.

Impact

Housed at the Haskayne School of Business, CDL-Rockies has worked with 383 ventures, over 100 mentors and almost 300 MBA and EMBA students from the Haskayne School of Business and the Alberta School of Business. With three program streams: Prime, Energy and AgriFood, CDL-Rockies alumni companies have created more than 2,100 jobs, raised $2.3 billion in capital; $977 million of which were raised by Alberta-based companies.
